Radiodetection Cable Avoidance Tools, C.A.T4TM and Genny4TM, builds on over 40 years of C.A.T and Genny expertise to deliver a step change in locating capabilities with minimal change in work practices and training requirements.
The C.A.T4 and Genny4 range is designed to assist in avoiding buried cables and pipes during excavation, reducing the risk of injury to personnel and damage to utilities. The C.A.T4 is designed to detect signals – whether generated by the Genny4, inherently radiating from metallic services, or from the complementary range of Sondes (Mice) and accessories designed to enable the location of non-conductive services.
eC.A.T4 and gC.A.T4 are equipped with automatic usage-logging capable of holding 2 years of work history in internal memory for later analysis.
gC.A.T4 adds GPS information to the usage data to identify the position of each scan, and Bluetooth connectivity to Android and iOS devices to enable near real-time monitoring and analysis of on-site gC.A.T4 usage.
Key innovations include:
- Built-in usage-logging to allow a reliable record to be kept of how the equipment is used.
- Built-in GPS to augment the data log to include positional information.
- Patented simultaneous dual frequency transmitter and locator operation to help locating Small Diameter cables.
C.A.T4 and Genny4 is Radiodetection’s most advanced C.A.T and Genny system to date, designed to deliver optimal performance, higher levels of safety, advanced features and at competitive cost of ownership.
